RC Loot Council or RCLC for short is the addon required for the guilds distribution of loot via loot council.

While there is certainly an emphasis of most benefit for raid we also recognise two primary oppositions to this so always do our best to adopt a balanced and fair approach.

First opposition: “The most benefit to raid numerically is the massive upgrades for those that raid log. I get punished for putting all this effort to gear through keys but someone that has put sweet bugger all effort into gearing numerically gets the biggest upgrade so i lose out on pieces.”

This will be partially offset by the shear nature of minimum expectations raiders wont simply be able to raid log and there is an expectation of keys being done else loot will be not coming your way followed by quick trip to bench as others put in the minimum effort to raid.

Second opposition: “ The best skilled / parsing player is arguably the best player to get gear on first so that means I will always miss out if someone else is marginally better than I am that's not fair”

This is a tale of context, if a player is grey parsing all the time vs a consistent purple or higher player that is absolutely a fair consideration to say we will lose value giving this to the wrong player. However likewise if we are funneling gear to 1 player over a minute 0.1% throughput difference from 2 great players thats also not appropriate and as such 100% is not something loot council will do.

RCLC is the tool to help facilitate the loot council decisions used from gathering information to help make the most informed decision we can.

●     Willingness to put hand up for mechanics

These are all examples of factors going towards that ever elusive most informed decision.
